Pete Michael Smith lives and writes in the hills of Western Massachusetts. His writing is prone to extended metaphor and dreamy imagery. And birds. There are birds almost everywhere, and they do some surprising things (though not so surprising if you’re someone who spends a great deal of time reading about, watching or thinking about birds).

Pete’s stories and poetry have appeared online and in print in a variety of journals alongside a variety of very talented writers and artists. He hopes to someday make a living off of his fictions, but for now is content to make a living in them.
